For many, Valentine’s Day is a day to celebrate all things love! Something that both commercial and cooperate companies can take part in too! February 14th, just like many key dates throughout the year, is a perfect time to capitalise on products, services and to share your love for your clients, customers and employees.
Here at Media Waypoint, we are sharing some of our favourite things to do on the day of love.
Show your emojis ❤️
Keep it simple with your emojis! Whether you’re running Valentine offers or not, it’s great to brighten up your content with any and all love related emojis; love-hearts, kissing faces and even heart eyes. It’s a must that these little heart shapes should be making an appearance on your website, social media posts and even your mailers. (Side note, we also recommend sending out a Valentine’s Day mailer to your database).
It’s always great to show your customers that there is a person behind the screen and using emojis is a brilliant way to do this. Adding seasonal branding, while retaining your company aesthetics, can improve brand recognition and is an invaluable tool for advertising special promotions.
Valentine’s Day offers
If you’re running a special offer over the Valentine’s weekend, it’s imperative that you run an ad campaign to ensure as many people as possible see it. With most shopping done online, an attention grasping ad campaign can take the audience straight to your product with only one click!
Email campaigns are another great way to share all your Valentine’s Day news. Let your database know what offers you have available both in store and online. Including a promotional code, such as 10% off, in the mailer is also a great incentive for your customers to complete their purchases.
Share the love
Don’t believe your business can’t capitalise from a special occasion. Even if you don’t have a product or service to push to the public, why not share your love for your employees for everyone to see? Congratulate the team on a good job done, share a silly fact, fill the office with heart shaped sweets or even deliver flowers or cards to your team. These are all things to share on your socials as it will make your a more personable company.
